Natural Skin Care
I had plenty of things like moisturizer, toner and scrubs for skin. Some of them were not meant for my skin, some of them were too costly to buy again and some of them were costly plus not my skin type. I was really confused, back then I didn't had any idea. But now I have all the things in my kitchen no need to buy costly products, when I can use natural ingredients to my rescue. Trust me guys it works wonder and its actually 100% natural.
I think we should use natural ingredients instead of harmful chemicals. Nature is the best healer, So as per my thinking we should heal our skin with nature. In the last Blog I wrote about Natural Face Pack here I'm writing few skin care.
1. Toner
I'm presenting some natural toner here. Everyone knows how good Cucumber is for face. Cucumber's refreshing effect on skin makes it an natural toner. It also makes your skin tight and glowing. Cucumber is best for lines, protection against sun, repairs burn, removes acne, heals scar and lighten skin.
Tomato juice is also works good on skin. Tomato juice may help you in preventing skin cancer, sunburns and dead cell. It also helps in soothing skin and moisturise it. Tomato juice is very effective on our skin.
Another Ingredient is ALOE VERA, Aloe Vera is most used herbal remedies for skin problem. It helps with burns, sunburns, cuts, frostbite and dry skin. Inflammatory forms of acnes like pustules and nodules can be treated by Aloe Vera gel.
Now comes my favourite ROSE WATER, Who don't like rose water when it comes to skin care, I especially love using rose water for my skin, It makes me feel glowing and refreshing. It hydrates skin like magic. Rose water helps dry and flaking skin.
1. Cucumber Juice and Tomato Juice
- Take a spray bottle and add 70% of Cucumber juice
- Add 20% Tomato juice and 10% Water
- Mix it well and keep applying it very night
2. Cucumber Juice and Aloe Vera
- Take 30% aloe vera gel
- Add 70% cucumber juice in it
- Mix it well and apply it every night.
3. Rose Water and Apple Cider Vinegar
- Take 80% rose water
- add 20% apple cider vinegar
- Mix it and Spray it every night
4. Rose Water and Aloe Vera
- Take 50% rose water
- Add 50% aloe vera
- Mix it and spray it
2. Cleanser
Fresh Tomato is an excellent option for in depth pore cleansing. It is also rich in lycopene - a powerful antioxidant that protects cells against free radical damage and premature aging. Tomato also lightens skin tone, reduces oiliness and cleanses the skin.
Milk makes skin moisturized. It also help in better complexion, radiant and smooth skin. Milk removes sunburn, dead skin cells and also shrink pores. Milk is also best for skin irritations.
Milk and Tomato
- Take a half Tomato and smash it into juice
- Add 2tbsp Milk and mix it thoroughly
- Dip a cotton ball into the mixer and tap it on your face
- Leave it for 5 mins and wash it with cold water
3. Scrub
Natural scrubs are best. They don't harm our skin, they just give us soft and smooth skin. Sugar scrub brighten tired, dull looking skin to promotes healthy and smooth skin. Also sugar scrub can fight skin aging in natural way.
Potato scrub is another good natural scrub. I was really shocked when I was told to use it as a scrub, at first I was not sure then I decided to try it and it went like magic. It gives you your lost glow by removing dead cells. It lightens dark skin.
Coffee scrub is my favourite. It helps protecting skin from wrinkles, sunburn and fine lines. Coffee scrub makes your skin tighter and brighter. When I hear coffee I feel relax and energetic, that's how your skin feels too relax, energetic and glowing.
So lets begin!
1. Sugar-Honey Scrub
- Take 2 tbsp of sugar
- Add 1 tbsp of honey
- Add 1/2 tsp of lemon (optional)
- Mix it well and scrub your face for 5-10 mins
- Take half potato and grind it coarsely
- Add 1 tbsp of milk and mix it
- Scrub your face for 3-5 mins
3. Coffee-Sugar Scrub
- Take 1 tbsp coffee and 1 tbsp sugar
- Add 1tbsp of honey and mix it
- Scrub your face for 10-15 mins
4. Moisturizer
Now-a-days moisturizing your skin is essential. Pollution, Dirt, Sun and Climate effects our skin undoubtedly, so we should use moisturizer on daily basis. Moisturizer keeps our skin soft and healthy and it even protects from harmful beauty product.
Well we know how Aloe Vera works for skin. It have wonderful effect on skin smoothing, brightening, tightening and protection from sun-burns, UV rays and skin irritations. Aloe Vera is a natural healer of our skin.
Rose Water is the best refresher. It helps with redness and balance pH level of the skin. It also contains anti-inflammatory effects, anti-oxidants and antimicrobials.
Vitamin E is too good for skin. It fades birthmark, reduces sunburn and removes scars. Vitamin E prevents wrinkles, fine lines and skin cancer.
Aloe Vera-Vitamin E Moisturizer
- Take 4 tbsp of aloe vera and 2 capsule of vitamin E
- Add 1 tsp of rose water
- Add 5 drops of tea tree oil (optional)
- Mix it well
- Use it as a moisturizer
